Our thoughts...

Wow! This book left me speechless. Once I finished the first thing I did was text a blogger friend who finished before me, stating that I wouldn’t except the ending if it was in fact true. That is couldn’t be true. NO WAY! They deserve better.

This was my first book by S.L Scott and I won’t be my last. I wasn’t immediately pulled into this story but once I was I couldn’t stop. That in and of itself states a lot about her writing. If I am not engaged from the beginning the chance of me finishing and loving a book are slim.

My heart broke for King and his firefly. Their story has it all, angst, love, passion, compassion, devastation and the thrill of what will happen next. This story is both dark and light, Alexander’s (King) life contributes the dark and Sara Jane (Firefly) brings the light. They share an all-consuming love for each other. Sara Jane knows she would be better off leaving but she can’t because that would mean walking away from her soul. King wants her to leave but he knows he will never let her. Because his life wouldn’t exist without her.

Seriously one click this book!
