This was my first book by Chantal Fernando and it won’t be
my last. I am a sucker for an office romance and single dad.
This was a fast read that I finished in one sitting. There
wasn’t really any drama and that was ok. I normally like to have some kind of
drama and to an extent it worked without it. There were areas that were very
predictable to me.
Katrina has just finished law school and landed an
internship at a top law firm. When her boss has to leave for a while she jumps
in to fill in for him. It wasn’t all it was cracked up to be. She had to work
with his partner Tristan who wasn’t the nicest.
Tristan is an attorney and single father. Seeing Katrina for
the first time there was instant attraction that had to be put on hold since
she works with him. Will they be able to make a relationship work in and out of
the office?
If you want a fast light hearted read this is right up your
ally. I will be reading more from the author for sure.
