This series gets better with each book. Book one Ruthless King ended with a cliff hanger and had me wanting book two right then. Thank goodness the wait wasn’t too long.
Book two picks up where book one left off. So many questions I had are answered in this book. The more we get to know Mount the more I like him. He is good at what he does and protecting those he cares about.
The one woman he thought would be his play toy is turning out to be so much more. With every page that I turned I was pulling for these characters to end up together. They both have a hard time showing each other their true selfs and what they’re feeling.
If you haven’t started this series what are you waiting for? You won’t be able to stop once you start this trilogy. This is a must read trilogy and you need to start from book one.
