Our thoughts...
Best Man was a fast paced
second-chance, enemies to lovers read. It’s what happens when a one-night stand
occurs between two people who are clearly meant to be together but are unable
to communicate this with each other.
While I enjoyed Miles character, I found he could be a
frustrating at times. I will admit, I had a hard time with Lia. I wanted shake
her, I found her to be overly childish and blind to the obvious. I will say
that the last 20% of the book was my favorite. Lia matured, taking her life into
her own hands and I started to like her.
Aaron had me rolling my eyes from the first few pages.
He’s a douche with a capital D.
Overall, I give Best Man 3.5 stars.
