The Affair was an
emotional second chance at love that caught me off guard.
The Affair is well written with real life issues and well-developed characters. Elle is fun and smart, but she lost herself along the way. Reed we don’t know a lot about other than he was Elle first love. I’d love to hear Reeds side of the story.
I was expecting more of the forbidden feel, I wanted the angst and heartbreak that came with an affair. I wish we would’ve been given a more in-depth look into Elle and Reeds life; and a look during the affair.
Sawyer was everything that Reed was not for Elle. I wish we would’ve had a look into his life before and during the affair.
The Affair was a bit tame for my tastes but still an exceptional read! I will admit that the epilogue brought a few tears to my eyes.
