This is the first time I have read a book by this author and I am hooked! After reading the blurb and seeing the sweet cover I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. I love this genre small town friends to lovers, is my jam. Mac and Beckett grew up together and have been best friends since they were kids.
Beckett is home for the summer before starting his senior year of college. Whenever Beckett is home these two are always together. When a rumor starts to spread about them being engaged they decide to go with it. With the fake engagement it forces them to finally realize they could have something real. The feelings they have for each other aren’t one sided.
I loved all the characters and how the story unfolded. There is nothing like falling for your best friend and realizing he feels the same way. Loved this book and can’t wait to go back and read more from this author. Must read!
