Blood Beyond Darkness was the perfect ending to a series. It’s almost after you get through book three that you can finally sigh with relief that the intensity is going to ramp up one last time with the ending on the horizon.

I was excited to hear Callie Dalton narrating because she really does have a great grasp of Zapata's stories and characters. She adds a lot to the story and I recommend checking her out.

I'm starting to realize that reading all of Zapata's books in a row is a mistake. I enjoy them; they're cute and so funny, but they follow an almost identical formula. I'm not going to break it down because it feels too critical for something I still enjoyed, but the repeated outline is becoming more and more obvious.

Brittainy C. Cherry never disappoints. She has a way of
telling a story and pulling you in. For me she is one of my go to authors and
there are not many of those. I can always pick up one of her books and know I
am going to love it. This was another masterpiece.

This duo wrote the best book. I haven’t laughed so much in a
long time and really needed it. Sarina Bowen is an author I love, and I have
never read Tanya Eby before. This is an instance where the saying “don’t judge
a book by its cover” applies. I am not a huge fan of the cover but the story
was so good!
