Our thoughts...

I was riveted from the beginning of the story of Silas and Charlie. What we learn about the two of them quickly changes from scene to scene with clues all throughout the book. Their world has just come crashing down around them as they try to figure out who they really are, and why they have a past.
This book is about the mystery of discovery. Not only do they need to rely on each other to figure things out, but they also feel the need to be tethered to one another as if they were the first humans on earth, scouring for logical explanation as to their being.
I was deeply involved in the story itself. Trying to see if I could pick up all the clues of the puzzle, and piece them together to equal my outcome. No such luck. Nothing is ever that easy, especially when Tarryn Fisher is involved. Bring Colleen Hoover into the mix, and you are really asking for a whole lot of trouble. From the mud and bloodied sheets to grilled cheese sandwiches, this novel will have you thinking about hamster wheels where you are stuck in one loop of a nightmare.

My question is this. If you suddenly woke up one day with your memory wiped clean what would you do? Would you still want to love a person you thought you loved before? Would you try to understand why you loved them in the first place?

The co-writing in this one was exceptional. I felt the play against each author’s words on every page. I could see some of their individual styles as well as their personalities coming through on paper. I look forward to the next part of Silas and Charlie. Go grab your copy today!
