Our thoughts...

Honest~ Trust~ Time

Wow! My Time In The Affair is different than I thought it would be. It wasn't the typical love triangle. I found myself sucked into this story, wanting to know how it ended. I wanted Mischa with Tal, I wanted the affair to happen. Which is odd for me; usually I feel bad for the one being cheated on…or I want the cheater to try and redeem themselves.

Mischa Rapaport is an insurance agent, ex-dancer, and married to her best friend Michael. They have been married for 8 years. When she thought she had to leave her dancing career behind she changed mentally and physically. The opportunity to go overseas for work was the catalyst that jump-started her transformation. What happens when you put in the time to change and it goes unnoticed or when you voice your concerns and receive no feedback? How would you react if your thoughts and feelings were overlooked?

Tal Canaan is a photographer, mysterious with a sly smile, drop dead good looks, and larger than life personality. He is drawn to Mischa; he knows she’s married, he knows she is forbidden. There is just something about her that he needs in his life, something that’s been missing for years and he wants to find out what that is.

Sometimes people are meant to be friends and not lovers, life takes over; we get comfortable. Maybe we’re too afraid to voice what we really want. Our fears outweigh what is right, what we should do, or how we should do it.

Stylo takes you through all the phases of an “accidentally on purpose” affair; the forethought, the heat of the moment /chemistry, the after thoughts and lastly the repercussions of those actions in a way that really made me think.  Be honest with yourself and others find the strength you need and give everything time to settle. Come Find Me!
