Our thoughts...

I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. I love Aleatha’s writing. Tony (Consequences Series) is one of my all time favorite characters. That being said, Nox is quickly taking over his spot!

This story flips from 6 weeks ago to present time as we follow Alexandra Charles Montague Collins on her one week hiatus from life.  There is a lot or pressure that comes with being a Montague even thought Alexandra is a Collins.

While away at college Alexandra reinvented herself, she was Alex Collin, your typical SoCal college student.  We meet up with Alex after her has graduated college with plans to be heading off to law school in NYC this fall.

While enjoying a week away with her best friend, she decides to spend her time differently; she doesn’t want to be Alexandra or even Alex this week. She wants to do things that neither of them would consider doing, she is going to do what Charli wants to!

While on vacation she meets a sexy, mysterious man. They agree to one week together. No personal information is exchanged at the end of the week they walk away from each other. Their chemistry is electric, and Nox has Charli wanting more!

You can tell that Nox and Charli have feelings for each other. You can feel the possibility of more to their relationship.  However, they made a deal, one week only and Charli is going to stick to it. Nox on the other hand has already broken his own rules. He has left Charli with the ball in her hands!

When she arrives back to Montague Manor everything is not as it seems. She is informed that her parents have different plans for her. Alexandra fights for her right to go to law school. Her parents concede to the one semester (which is already paid for) but after that she is to come home.

Reaching out to her cousin for a place to stay for a few days she learns of a job possibility that could end all her financial woos and allow her to continue on with her dreams of being a lawyer. Alex decides that she is going to apply for this new job… To be continued!
