Our thoughts...

I love a friends to lovers story so I was excited to read this. This was hard to put down once I started it, the story flowed perfectly.  I love when books go from present to past.

When Amelia’s grandmother passes away she leaves half her house to her and half to Justin.  Amelia hasn’t seen Justin since she moved away and broke his heart.

Skip ahead nine years later….When they see each other for the first time you can feel the tension. Justin brings his girlfriend to stay with him. His girlfriend is sweet and befriends Amelia the moment she meets her. She tries to ease the tension that’s there between Amelia and Justin. When she is called back to New York for work that’s when things change. Amelia tries to fix her friendship with Justin but he just makes it hard.

The fact that Justin sings and writes his own songs made me like this book even more. This book was filled with angst and lost of emotion. I was pulling for these characters hoping everyone got their happy ending. I really enjoyed this story and look forward to more of this authors work.
