Our thoughts...

Jane Childs was kidnapped in front of her home and held against her will for 10 years.  This is her story.  Her story of being lost and becoming found.  In this book you read about her struggle to come back into a life that she was taken from.  It was a happy life that she spent with an amazing boyfriend and a wonderful family but she is broken.  Can she recover and find that happiness again?  Can she fix all of the things that are broken?  You will have to read it to find out and you won’t be disappointed, this was a great story.

“Try again. Fail again. Fail better.” This quote defines a lot of this book.  A strong girl that is fighting like hell to get back to a normal life, a normal existence after all of the struggles she is faces with.  I really loved this book.  It was an emotional read, one I didn’t want to put down and one I didn’t want to end.  I cried a lot.  I would suggest having a box of tissues and a glass of wine while reading this one.  With that being said there was so much happiness in this story despite all the sad.  Nicole Williams knocked this one out of the park.  She sure knows how to make you connect with her characters.  You feel their pain and their struggles.  You are rooting for a happy ending for these characters from the beginning. \\

As much as I loved this book, I didn’t love the ending.  I felt all the pain and fight that Jane went through and I needed more from it.  This is a book that will stick with you for a long time and you may never be able to forget.  It teaches you that life is short, live it to the fullest and fight hard for what you want.  Pick this book up, it is pretty great!

Read it!
