Our thoughts...

I’m still thinking about this book. Talk about some angst and an emotional rollercoaster. There were times I was ready to throw my kindle.

Sadie and Nathan are going through a rough patch in their marriage. The only problem is Sadie doesn’t know why and she can’t get Nathan to talk to her about it. It’s hard to go from a husband who adores you and always wants to be with you to one who doesn’t want to be near you. Sadie wasn’t expecting or prepared for Nathan’s cold shoulder. She starts to feel lonely never knowing where Nathan is or what kind of mood he’ll be in when he gets home.

When a new neighbor moves into the building something draws Sadie to him. Finn is mysterious but shows Sadie compassion. As their friendship progresses Sadie feels safe and not so lonely when she’s with Finn. This only complicates things when she starts to have feelings for him and her husband.

I wish we got more of an ending. I’m ok with how it ended but would have liked more of it. It felt rushed to me. However I couldn’t put it down and have a book hangover.

Hang on tight and get ready for a ride you won’t regret taking. This is one book you don’t want to miss out on.
