Our thoughts...
I've been patiently (or not) waiting for this book for so long! I really loved Noc when we first met him and wanted to see how his story was finally going to play out. To be honest I was a little scared when I found out that Franka was the main female lead in this book. Her character didn't get the best lead in from Book 1 and was anxious to see if she could be redeemed.
I believe at heart Midnight Soul is Franka's not only redemption but her finding herself. She was cast as a villain from the very beginning and we needed to see her growth.
Noc was not just a hero in this book but he was her guiding light. He was there when she needed a shoulder to cry on and he was there to help her realize that she was indeed a good person. He was alpha but I think that he wasn't overly alpha. While he wasn't my favorite male KA character of all time he did have some amazing qualities.
I think my main issue and why this isn't a 5 star read for me, is that it was a little slow in parts. It was dragging story wise in the middle of the book and I needed a bit more action.
I loved seeing all the old gang from the previous books.
That EPILOGUE was amazing as usual!!
