Our thoughts...

Twelve Truths and a Lie was the first book that I’ve read by Christina Lee.  Christina gives us relatable characters that you would want as your own friends. The real world feel to this story is refreshing, especially in today’s contemporary romance world.

Aurora is in a self made ‘chastity club’ per her friends influence. She doesn’t have the ability to have sex with no strings attached. Which I feel is an issue for a lot of woman in real life. She hasn’t really been single her entire life, she goes from one relationship to the next, not on purpose it just happens.

Cameron has had a year from hell; he caught his best friend with his girl. That trigger him to fall into manwhore, king of one night stands mode. He finally received a wakeup call with a busted condom.

While meeting up with friends for their monthly cocktail night Aurora and Cameron form the Chastity Club. They decide to meet once a week as friends; they’ve kept this information from all of their friends. They soon realize that they like spending time together; they have a lot in common.

If you’re looking for a relatable friends to lovers story, this is the book for you.
