I have had this book on my kindle for a really long time and decided now was the time to read it. I wish I didn't wait on this one for so long because I really loved it!
You meet Kat who has decided to pack up and move to Maine to escape something from her past. You aren't sure what her story is at first but I had my thoughts on it. She meets Lane Wild in the local bar one night and the sparks start flying. She is keeping him at arm's length and he seems to be doing the same but they can't seem to stop their attraction to each other. They keep on fighting this connection that they have to one another. There was angst between them that has be trying to flip the pages as fast as I could. All the drama comes out in the end and really truly was the perfect ending.
I highly suggest reading this book. I will also continue reading the series, book 2 is about Lane's brother so no cliff hangers. This oldie but goodie is also free on Amazon! I'll include the link for you so you can pick it up! Great read, great lovable characters! 5 stars!
