Our thoughts...
The
Wright Brother is a new series by K.A. Linde and she
doesn’t disappoint. Book one is about Emery and Jensen. This is different then what Kyla usually gives us, it’s
sweeter, and less angst driven but the connection between the characters is
gripping.
Emery is back in her home town fresh off of a broken
heart. She is convinced by her best friend to attend the wedding of a former
classmate. While at the wedding she
encounters several former classmate who don’t recognize her, namely her
ex-boyfriend Landon Wright. Because of him she’s sworn off all the Wright
brothers.
Jensen Wright is drawn to beautiful woman at his sister’s
wedding. He doesn’t know who she is but he will stop at nothing to find out. Once
he discovers who the beauty is, he realizes he can’t have her. But he’s not
strong enough to stay away from her either.
The chemistry between the two flows naturally but
Jensen is hiding a lot of information that will affect his relationship or
potential relationship with Emery if he isn’t able to put his past behind him.
Personally I would have liked a little more angst
and steam in this story. I expect Kyla to try and rip my heart out in each book
but the change is nice. I am looking forward to Landon's story because he has a CRAZY wife!! So you know what that means..DRAMA!!!
