Our thoughts...

It’s been so long since I have found a good alpha lead in a book. Vicious is quite brutal when it comes to being the biggest asshole around, but the good part about him? He’s that way for a reason. I understand completely why some couldn’t connect to him, but others did. He has a lot going on in his life. He hides behind his emotion, and that for me was the attraction.

This journey was pretty much everything I need in a standalone. In the beginning, you know right away something isn’t right between Vicious and Emilia. Things are rough for her, as he makes them that way, but for a purpose. You think what a freaking mess these two are, and how can this possibly turn out right?

All I want to say about this book was that the writing was exceptional. Vicious POV was so well done I felt like I was in his brain the whole time. Kudos to the author whom I have never had the pleasure of reading, but this book will rectify the many in the future.
