Our thoughts...

Stacy Kestwick is a new to me author and I will be checking out more of her work! I’ll be honest here I am not a fan of new adult type of books. That being said; you’re probably wondering why I requested this book, the answer being a friend wanted me to read it. I was pleasantly surprised.

Reese is fierce, compassionate, loyal and strong! She’s trying out of an all-male drumline. Woman are allowed to tryout and join the drumline if they are good enough, there’s just never been a female that was good enough until now.

Laird is the caption of the drumline. He’s determined to make a difference in the lives of people around him. He welcomes the idea of a woman drummer!

Eli is one of my favorite characters in this book. He stole my heart from the moment I met him. He’s the glue that Reese and Laird need at times.

It did take me a while to get into this story but once I did, I couldn’t stop reading. In all honesty if I had met a guy like Laird in college and had the sex that Reese was having I think I would’ve liked college more!

This book has a bit of everything drama, angst, love and some smoking hot sex scenes and I did shed a few tears!  Pick this one up! You won't be disappointed.
