Our thoughts...
Are you ready for Mount? Probably not, at least I wasn’t ready for him lol!
The novel is pretty fast-paced,
we don’t get too involved in the interworking relationship between hero
and heroine, it’s balls to the wall so to
speak the minute Mount enters the scene. I like my world building and my
character set up a little more involved than
this one, but I did enjoy it.
Kiera tried her hardest to be a strong-willed woman, but every time she would turn around Mount
would either be in her face or holding something against her. The tiniest
whispers from her friend had her running scared. Keira could just not get a solid
foundation the entire time, and I guess that made me somewhat nervous. I as a
reader felt unstable as well. I’m not sure if we are supposed to see growth
with Keira after this first novel, but one can hope. I can see future possibilities
for these two which intiruges me more.
I will definitely be
reading the next one in the series to see where the story goes. Happy Reading!
