Our thoughts...

I'll admit that I was pleasantly surprise by Move the Stars. I wasn’t sure Manning deserved Lake’s love. I didn’t see a way for them to be together. Overall, it was a solid 4 stars for me.

I will tell you this-spoiler be damned- THIS book does take place over a span of time. These characters need to work for what they want. They need to grow into themselves before they can find any sort of happiness whether that be together or apart. They need to find out who they are first.

I wasn't a Manning fan at all (and I'm still not). Once he stuck his P in Tiffany's V he was dead to me. You DO NOT sleep with your sisters boyfriend/Husband/etc... It's wrong. I discovered that is my hard limit. I will say that he did experience a lot of growth as a man in this book. By the end of the book I actually liked him. I wanted him to succeed.

Does that mean I wanted Lake with Corbin?? Yes and No, I just wanted Lake to be happy and find someone who would love her like she deserved to be loved.

I struggled with Lake in this book. Some of the choices she made I felt were beneath her. I had a hard time believing that a 20 something college student would make those same choices.

I will tell you that I had PLENTY of issues with this story. How somethings went down left a bitter taste in my mouth. BUT Jessica did a fantastic job of making me hate Manning a little less.  She was able to grow the characters in a way that made some of their choices forgivable. Not all authors can do that.

By the time I got to the end I wanted more. This was my favorite book of the three.
