Our thoughts...
One Hot December is the third and final installment in Tiffany Reisz's Men at Work trilogy for Harlequin Blaze. All three are quick, sexy standalone reads that fit the Blaze line of stories perfectly. One Hot December is my favorite of the three and you can find the prequel story on Harlequin's website (it's free!).

What a fun way to relax and see some of my favorite books! With my busy schedule lately it has been nice to come home and sit down and color.
These doodles are amazing and have been so much fun to color. So many fun pages to color and remember getting lost in the story. I can't wait to get back to coloring in this coloring book!

Our thoughts...
I’m going to start this review with a quick reminder that I love all things Penny Reid. I just can’t help myself. This puts me into the awkward reviewer category of someone with “fan goggles.” With that said, my enthusiasm is only a modest amount above the average, or non-goggled, level of appreciation. Science told me so. Therefore, you can totally trust me on this: You need Cletus in your life. More specifically, you need Cletus in love with Jenn in your life.

Her Naughty Holiday is another fun read from Tiffany Reisz’s Men at Work trilogy from Harlequin Blaze. You can find my review for the first in the series, Her Halloween Treat, HERE. For those of you unfamiliar with the Harlequin Blaze line of books, they describe it as, “You like it hot! Harlequin Blaze stories sizzle with strong heroines and irresistible heroes playing the game of modern love and lust. They're fun, sexy and always steamy.” Tiffany Reisz definitely delivers on all of those marks!

Her Halloween
Treat is everything you would expect from a Harlequin Blaze story written by
Tiffany Reisz. For those of you unfamiliar with Harlequin’s Blaze series, they
describe it as, “You like it hot! Harlequin Blaze stories sizzle with strong
heroines and irresistible heroes playing the game of modern love and lust.
They're fun, sexy and always steamy.” Add to that Reisz’s clever humor and
charming wit and you can’t go wrong.

Smut is a fun, fast-paced read. It is perfect for the beach or as a "palette cleanser" to cure a book hangover. I had a lot of fun reading this one. Don't take things too seriously and you'll have a good time.
Review: The Confessions by Tiffany Reisz

Embracing ~ Familiar ~ Peace
Let me start by saying if you have not read all of the books in the Original Sinners series DO NOT read this. This is strictly for those who know the story because there is a lot of back story. With that being said, if you have read the entire series (thus far) you will LOVE The Confessions. These stories are like a warm embrace from an old friend or a blanket fresh out of the dryer. They will bring comfort and joy while giving a little more insight into tales we are familiar with. This is also more of a novella.

Our thoughts...
I will be the first to admit that I am in love with Penny Reid. At the very least I am in love with her writing and characters (seeing as I have only ever talked to the woman for a few minutes). With that being said, know that my love is not a blind love but one nurtured consistently by her stories. I had no idea who Penny Reid was until I met her at a book signing last year where her personality sold me on her books and I have not looked back since. This woman and her characters are smart, hilarious, and full of charm.

From the USA Today Best Selling Author of ‘Truth or Beard’ There are three things you need to know about Fiona Archer… I would tell you what they are, but then I’d have to kill you.
But I can tell you that Fiona’s husband—the always irrepressible and often cantankerous Greg Archer—is desperately in love with his wife. He aches for her when they are apart, and is insatiable when they are together. Yet as the years pass, Greg has begun to suspect that Fiona is a ninja. A ninja mom. A ninja wife. A ninja friend. After fourteen years of marriage, Greg is trying not to panic. Because Fiona’s talent for blending in is starting to resemble fading away.
However, when unexpected events mean Fiona must take center stage to keep her family safe, her response stuns everyone—Greg most of all. It seems like Greg’s wish has come true.
Except… not.
When all is said and done, can Greg handle this new version of his wife? Will his irrepressible cantankerousness push her away? Or can the couple find a way forward without either being forced to step back into the shadows?
This is a full length, 100k word novel, and is the 5th book in the Knitting in the City Series. All books in the series can be read as a standalone except book #1.5
Review: If You Dare by A.R. Torre
Title: Deanna Madden #3
Author: A.R. Torre (aka Alessandra Torre)
Genre: Romantic Suspense/Thriller
Publisher: Redhook
Pub Date: November 10, 2015
Rating: 4 Stars
Our thoughts...
If You Dare is the third installment of the Deanna Madden series and it does not disappoint. One thing I like about this series, other than the characters and concept, is the fact that each book is unique in the way the story approaches Deanna’s life and the challenges she is facing. It isn’t the same story modified slightly over and over. Each book allows us to see a new facet of Deanna and some of the situations that arise when one is a presumed sociopath.
