LOVED this book! I
wish I could give it more than five stars. This is one of those books you start
reading and then can’t stop. This has easily been added to my top reads this
year. I had a major book hangover when I finished.
Kate has always been the best friend to the girl who married
Shane. That’s really hard if you have had feelings for Shane since you were
young and he acts like you don’t exist. But what Shane doesn’t know is that
Kate was always there when he left picking up the slack.
Shane is hard to love unless you are his wife and children.
He didn’t have the easiest upbringing. When things take a turn for the worse he
leans on Kate for help with his kids.
There was lots of angst and heartbreak. A complete emotional
rollercoaster that I didn’t want to get off. There were times I was ready to
throw my kindle at something and then Nicole Jacquelyn would some how mend it
for the time being. This is the first book I have read by this author and it
won’t be the last. This is a must READ you will not be disappointed.
