Our thoughts...
Yay we get more Finn! I loved Finn in Slip of the Tongue and
hoped he would finally get the girl. I was so excited we were going to get his
story and knew I was going to love it.
Finn is a romantic at heart yet intense at times. He was so
much fun to get to know and see what makes him happy. He is very cautious so he
doesn’t end up hurt like he has in the past. Trying to get his photography
career going and not thinking about meeting anyone until he finds a journal at
the coffee shop. After reading the words written he wants to meet the woman who
wrote them and can already imagine what she looks like.
When he finally figures out who the person behind the words
are he can’t keep his eyes off her. Halston is a breath of fresh air for Finn.
She is complex and not sure of herself. She has always done what others tell
her instead of doing what she wants. Things start to change after an encounter
with Finn.
The chemistry between these two is page melting and you won’t
be able to stop reading once you start. I like Finn even more now.
Awesome review Ashley!
