Our thoughts...
First of all that cover? *swoon*
I'll be the first to admit that I hated Ace in the last book. HATED him. I thought he was a self involved manwhore that could never be redeemed? You know my favorite types of books are the ones when I'm proved wrong!! Jen F. made me a believer and a Ace lover!
Bryant is not the typical coache's daughter. She takes on these little projects to help guys be better people in society. I won't tell you why but she has her reason.
Ace is well....he's an asshole. If you read book two of this series then you know why. He's starting fresh as a new school and hopes to put his all on the field with little distractions. The guys don't like him though and he has a hard time gelling with his teammates.
That's where Bryant comes in. She's going to make him a better person and teammate. She's never fallen for one of her projects before and she won't start now...but you know what they say about good intentions, right?!
I want to say that I loved the guy that Ace became but really I think he was at heart a good guy that just went in a wrong direction. The steam in this one was pretty high and I loved these two together.
I'm still sitting here begging for Hammer's book though Jen. Please put me out of my misery.
