Our thoughts...

I honestly don’t know what to write other than read this book! The characters are so human, flawed and completely lovable. I was sad when I read ‘The End’. I was seriously hoping to find out that there was going to be a second book for Jack and Margot, even though I hate not knowing a book is part of a series or duet ahead of time. This book was my exception.

Margot is this prim and proper well bred woman who just so happens to be down on her luck in the love department. She causes a scene at a fundraiser for her father’s campaign and is asked ever so kindly to leave town until the next big scandal hits. She agrees to go and visit a new client Valentini Brother’s Farm.

Jack Valentini is kind, loving, he’s a widower, a war veteran and so broken you can’t help but love him. He is a compete asshole in the beginning but you can feel the struggle that he is waging within himself. He’s trying so hard to hang on to his past that he isn’t living this beautiful life that he could have.

Margot sees beyond the façade into Jacks soul. Shes got to have the patience to let him make this decision on his own. She knows when to push and when to hold back. This is a second chance at love, a second chance at forever. This is a what happens after you allow yourself to fall.

Read this book, Then come and find me to talk about how wonderful it was!
