Our thoughts...
Growth ~ Rediscovery ~ Trust
Beautiful Beloved is quite the quick listen. Clocking in at just under 3 hours it manages to pack a full story into a short package. This story is about Max and Sarah a few months after their daughter is born. Sarah is getting ready to head back to work, Max is feeling sensitive, and both of them are fully ready to become reacquainted with their previous proclivities, if you catch my drift. Throw a baby into the mix and suddenly everything intensifies.

Our thoughts...
“I’ve never had
anything in my life worth fighting for, worth saving for. And I’ve spent my
whole life fighting in the ring, since-thinking I was too hard to beat, too
hard to feel. And then this kid, this little kid, comes out of nowhere, and is
the first to knock me out of my ring.” – Asher “The Tornado”

Our thoughts...
Beautiful ~ Challenging ~ Defiant
I recommend checking your expectations before starting this, forget your preconceptions. You need to go into this with an open mind in order to avoid missing important details. You’ll miss the story’s blooming, so to speak and the next thing you know the petals are falling. This book is not for everyone. You need to know this going in. There are triggers here, big ones. If it’s dark and/or disturbing, it’s most likely here, folks. Just consider yourself warned. It’s also quite lovely at the same time.
Character Interview: Diamonds by K.A. Linde
Terri and Katie from The Review Loft were lucky enough to
interview the group from Diamonds, the first book in what’s going to be a
summer favorite! Katie and Terri traveled out to Los Angeles to meet with
Bryna, Gates, Pace and the busy Jude.
