This is a political novel without being political. It’s about this family, The Landry’s, yes one of the children is the Mayor but there is more to it than that, in all honestly that is a small part. To me it was about trust, communication and knowing yourself worth and sticking to it.

Bottom line with this one is: it's not for me. I love a good teacher/student book. The taboo and the forbidden is my cup of tea. I don't even really mind big age difference if done right.
