Our thoughts...
I think my main issue with this one was that I felt lost heading in. It read like a book 2 instead of a book 1. The prologue started out telling you what an awful demon Declan was and I had that image in my mind through the whole book. I think the author was trying to make him seemed like a redeemed demon but my mind was already made up.
Piper was difficult for me to grasp as well. She loved Declan but didn't really want to be the demon she needed to be to survive and be with him. Like she was a demon with morals. They just didn't mix well together.
I love Paranormal books and I may give this author another try. I felt like the supernatural aspect was really intriguing to me but the characters lacked the depth I needed.
