Our thoughts...
Keeping London picks up right where the last book ended. Loïc is getting ready for deployment and this book follows them up until he leaves and then while he is away.
Let me start with what I did like about the book. The cover is WOW. This one and the first book's covers are just really amazing. So original. They are like a work of art! I also loved reading about their love and how strong it was. The adventures that they went on before the deployment and the communication that they had while he was overseas.
Then we get to all the sadness. I really had spoilers so I won't give you any but wow. You will have to read to know what I'm talking about. I was teary eyed for most of the end of the book. You get a pretty big heartache and a huge cliffy at the end. I fell like I didn't really connect with this one and some of the reason are spoilers so I'll leave that out but I will say that if you loved the first book you will probably love this one too. Now we wait to see what happens in the next book! I hope I don't want to hurt Ellie :) she'll know what I'm talking about.
