Finn Cohen, he was my guy in Slip of the Tongue. I wanted him with Sadie, to the point that I might have been a bit bitter. He’s such a romantic; I wanted him to have that once in a life time love.  Needless to say I was thrilled when I heard that Jessica was writing his book.  I will say it’s perfect!

Finn believes in Karma (we all should people, its real), he is living with consequences of past mistakes. When he finally meets the mysterious Halston, he needs to work on balancing his desires with her aloofness.

Halston is the beautifully mysterious woman who Finn falls in love with just by reading her words. He has to meet her; he imagines what she looks like long before he sees her. She is just as beautiful as he’s imagined and just as damaged and suffers from an endless cycle of addiction.

While this story is extreme sexy, their chemistry is off the charts hot but at times it’s a bit frustrating.  Finn has developed the patience of a saint but maybe that’s what love is. Knowing what is worth waiting for, working at and pushing for, learning how to give and receive support.

Jessica’s writing is as always, intense, deliciously sexual (some new and creative scenes). She is an author not to be missed. I can’t wait for her next book to come out.
