Our thoughts...

This book was one of my most anticipated books of the year. Erin Watt has a way of leaving you hanging but making you die with anticipation. Their books read like a teen soap opera that you hurry home from high school to watch every day.

Fallen Heir is Easton's story. We all know Easton as the party loving bad boy who really doesn't take much seriously. I was kind of hoping that this book would be his growth book and that just wasn't the case. I wanted to knock him upside the head all the time. I knew he wasn't going to be my favorite but I really didn't grow to like him. I know he has some issues, so many the next book will be his growth book.

The positive in this book for me was Hartley. I thought she was fierce, independent and quirky. She was doing her own thing and doing it fine until she got caught up in the Royal's game. Even though I think she caved on a few things too quick, I still adored her.

Erin Watt is a powerhouse in YA that I don't see stopping anytime soon. Even though I feel that one of the story plot's was kinda thrown in to throw a certain fandom a curveball, I think this was a solid addition to this series.
