This book as SUCH an old school KA feel to it. I was so absorbed in the story line and all the characters. It really felt like coming home because KA weaves such a story that you feel like you are there too. 

Firstly this book is a second chance, which I'm usually not a fan of. My exception is this author. Mainly because she proves over and over that she can do it right. She always makes me forgive everyone and root for the couple in present time. That's rare for me because I'm a grudge holder. 

Cady was such a strong female lead. She come's back to town knowing exactly what she wants and isn't afraid to go after it. 

Coert was an asshole. He was one for a reason though. It took me a while to warm up to him. Once I did though, I was all in on their love story. 

Their journey is one worth taking. It was beautiful and steamy. I won't be forgetting this one anytime soon and it will be put on my re-read rotation in the near future!
