The prologue feels like watching the opening of the movie Up and reading the story feels like watching an episode of This Is Us. If that’s your thing, if those give you all the right feels, then check out Love and Other Words.

Jenny's Early Review: My Not So Perfect Life by Sophie Kinsella

Title: My Not So Perfect Life
Author: Sophie Kinsella
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Publisher: Bantam Press

Pub Date: February 7, 2017
Rating: 3 Stars

Our thoughts...

This book was just okay for me, in all honesty. It has been awhile since I’ve read anything from Kinsella and my memories told me I really enjoyed my previous encounters. Goodreads tells me I felt the same about them as I do about this one. Maybe that means if you’ve loved her in the past you’ll love this one, too.

Jenny's Early Review: Moonshot by Alessandra Torre

Title: Moonshot
Author: Alessandra Torre
Genre: Romantic Suspense, Sports
Publisher: EverAfter Romance

Pub Date: July 4, 2016
Rating: 5 Stars

Our thoughts...

Moonshot is first and foremost a sports romance novel and such an incredible one at that! The connection between Ty and Chase runs deep in the best friends/soulmates kind of way. Their love is nurtured over time and blossoms into something quite beautiful (I know I sound cheesy, but bear with me). I really enjoyed watching these two get to know each other and fight for each other. They have the kind of love that never leaves the heart, that never dies down, that never lessens with time or actions.

Jenny's Early Review: The Anatomy of Jane by Amelia LeFay

Title: The Anatomy of Jane
Series: WJM #1

Author: Amelia LeFay
Genre: Erotic Romance
Publisher: Amelia LeFay

Pub Date: May 31, 2016

Our thoughts...

Holy Cliffhanger, Batman!

I somehow missed that this was more than one book. The Anatomy of Jane ends in the middle of the story and left me hanging! I have a pretty good feeling where things are going, but still…ugh. I need the next book ASAP.
