Our thoughts...
To say that this book was my most anticipated book of the year is putting it mildly. I'm obsessed with this series.
Going in there were two things I was hoping I was going to get:
A bad ass take no prisoners Ella
A Reed that was finally going to give her the "D"
Well....Ella lost her balls somewhere. I'm actually still looking for them almost a week later. For some reason she did a entire 360 character wise. I barely recognized her character. She turned into a meek chick that just allowed people to dictate her life. I loved that she was an independent person in the first two books.
I did still love Reed, but he too just wasn't up to par from the previous installments.
The ending was very rushed and so many things just didn't add up for me.
I'm still sad that it went in this direction.
